With over two decades of experience, Glen Castinho is a dedicated and highly skilled Digital Colourist. Since 2003, he has refined his knowledge and skills in colour grading, image pipeline, and DI workflows, contributing to feature films, documentaries, and TV series.

From his early days as a telecine operator and FilmLight product specialist in India, Glen moved to Belgium in 2007 to consult on and implement a 4K DI setup at Galaxy Studios. Later, at Alvernia Studios in Poland, he served as Senior Colorist and Head of DI, transforming the DI department into a leading facility in the region, with collaborations extending to renowned film laboratories for digital intermediate release prints, such as Deluxe UK/USA, Technicolor UK, and Barrandov Studio Laboratory in Prague.

A strong advocate for the integration of colour and visual design from the early stages of production, Glen’s involvement spans throughout the whole colour grading process, covering Show LUT creation, look development, on-set grading, including VFX plate colour control. As a Finishing Colorist, he oversees final release printing and ensures DCI, SDR, and HDR deliverables align with various industry standards, fostering creative collaboration across all production facets.

Covering the on-set dailies, Glen collaborated closely with DOPs from initial camera tests through to building Show LUTs and finalizing the look development, on projects such as ‘Voyagers’ (2021), ‘The Performance’ (2023) and ‘The Strangers’ Chapter 1, 2 and 3, (2024).
